8 Ocean Drive is only 24 km from King Shaka International Airport and is located on the famous Ocean Drive in the coastal town of Dolphin Coast also known as Ballito.
Salt Rock
The main swimming beach and tidal pool are nearly a stone through away. There are lifeguards on duty, patrolled shark nets, safe tidal pools, and exciting waves for a great swim/surf/boogie-board/paddle-ski, etc.
The beaches are clean for a lovely walk or run or a chance to discover tiny creatures in the rock pools.

Only 40km from Durban Ballito is the ideal holiday town.
There is no shortage of entertainment and attractions in Ballito. Restaurants, places to visit and shopping centers are plentiful
Just a short drive from 8 Ocean Drive you will find Tiffany’s, Salt Rock Shopping Center, Ballito Junction, and Lifestyle Shopping Centers.
Places to visit are the Animal Flagfarm, Burnedale, Sage, and Sugar Rush Adventure Complex. Not to mention litchi picking when in season.
Golf courses are nearby at Simbithi, Zimbali, Umhlali, and Prince’s Grant Golf Clubs.
Plan a day excursion to Hluhluwe (2 hours away) which offers opportunities to see the Big 5 or shop at some of South Africa’s best shops in Umhlanga (20 minutes away).
